INVITATION TO VOTE TO BE INCLUDED IN FIRST ALL IRELAND MONOPOLY  BOARD GAME

This is an opportunity for the people of South Dublin County to vote to be included on the first All-Ireland edition of Monopoly due to be produced by Hasbro later this year.

Over the coming weeks Hasbro will be calling on the people of Ireland to log onto www.monopoly.ie and get behind their counties and vote to be included on the new All-Ireland Monopoly board. With space for only 22 of the 32 counties to feature, the competition will be rife.
 
To launch the vote they are planning a comprehensive publicity campaign at both national and local level. This is an opportunity for counties to promote themselves and they are hoping that it will be well supported.  

The vote has just begun and you can vote by logging onto www.monopoly.ie and be among the first to vote for your county.
 
Monopoly is the worlds best selling board game, licensed or sold in 80 countries and is produced in 26 languages. About 1.5 million Monopoly boards are produced at the Hasbro Ireland plant in Waterford each year and are shipped throughout Europe.
