Proposed New Works

 

Notice Under Part VIII of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001

 

Pursuant to the requirements of the above notice is hereby given of the proposal to refurbish and extend

St Marks Youth & Family Facility, Fettercairn, Tallaght, Dublin24

A Community & Youth Facility refurbishment and extension of existing facility and ancillary landscaping which will include the following accommodation:

        Extension of 100sqM providing two Reception & entrance areas with cloakroom and toilet provision.

        Creation of new office and multi-use spaces.

        Refurbishment of Activities Room with Youth Activity focus.

        General upgrade of sports hall.

        Creation of two new Seminar/Meeting Rooms.

        Redesign and refurbishment of Roof Area to provide natural light and ventilation.

        Two new Kitchen Areas.

        Storage areas

        Refurbished Toilets

        Ancillary Landscaping and car parking.

This work will be carried out to the existing Community Facility adjacent to the old house & urban farm situated at St Marks Youth and Family Facility, Fettercairn.

The Childhood Development Initiative has indicated their intention to locate their administration for an initial 5 year period at this location.


Drawings of the proposed refurbishment and extension will be on public display at the Headquarters of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 during normal working hours Monday to Friday or on the Councils website www.southdublin.ie in the period of 23rd February 2007 to 23rd March 2007.

Submissions or observations with respect to this matter dealing with the proper planning and development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing to;
