Application to Kildare County Council
South Dublin County Council, County Hall. Tallaght, Dublin 24 is applying to Kildare County Council for planning permission for the Arthurstown landfill site in the townlands of Hartwell Lower, Hartwell Upper and Arthurstown, Kill, Co. Kildare.
This application is to allow for the continuation of the disposal of baled municipal waste until the final contours specified in the waste licence and in the planning permission for the site are reached or until 2010, whichever is the earlier. This application also includes the alteration of the existing pre-defined route for heavy goods vehicles accessing and leaving the landfill site.
The planning application is accompanied by an environmental impact statement. The proposed development relates to an activity subject to Waste Licence Reg. No. W004-03 issued by the Environmental Protection Agency. The planning application and environmental impact statement may be inspected or purchased at the offices of the planning authority at Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, during the huors 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and 2.00pm to 3.00pm Monday to Friday (Except Public Holidays).
A submission or observation in relation to the application may be made in writing to the Planning Authority on payment of a fee of 20 within five weeks from submission of the application to the Planning Authority.
