Breakfast Seminar Leadership on Integrated Workplaces

SDCC County Manager, Joe Horan will be joined by other colleagues speaking at the above seminar, to launch the 2006 anti-racist workplace week. A photo call with the national Ad-Mobile for the event will take place at 3.30 pm. in the grounds of County Hall, Tallaght on Monday 6th November. A roll call of business, statutory, community and voluntary interests will participate in the event.
On Friday 10th November 2006 the Breakfast Seminar in the Plaza Hotel, will present an opportunity for employers and employees to focus on creating integrated workplaces. Niall Crowley, CEO, Equality Authority will deliver a Keynote Address.
Clement Esebamen of Tallaght Partnership coordinating the event local steering group says The Seminar will present some of the actions locally, which have resulted through a committed leadership on creating integrated workplaces. A diversity awareness and intercultural workplaces workshop follows on, in what promises to be a great networking opportunity, and sharing of diverse experiences on the Irish workplace of the future.

Anti-Racist Workplace Week seeks to stimulate and support intercultural workplaces that:
Are free from discrimination and harassment.
Are welcoming to Black and minority ethnic (including Traveller) employees and customers.
Accommodate and value cultural and linguistic diversity in the workplace.
Take practical steps to achieve full equality in practice for Black and minority ethnic (including Traveller) employees.
Communicate a message for greater equality within its wider community.
