Deputy Mayor Alex White on behalf of the Members of South Dublin County Council officially hosts the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the WEB project in the presence of Minister Eamonn OCuiv Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs,in Whitechurch Library, Taylors Lane, Ballyboden, Dublin 16 on Wednesday 12th July at 2.30pm.
WEB stands for Whitechurch, Edmondstown and Ballyboden. The WEB project which celebrates its 10th anniversary this month is a community development organisation with a strong ethos of supporting lifelong learning and encouraging an appreciation of history and culture. It has been based in Whitechurch Library since Autumn 2000. Its principle funding comes through the Community Services Programme managed by POBAL on behalf of the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
