PRE-DRAFT PUBLIC CONSULTATION FOR A
PROPOSED LOCAL AREA PLAN
West Oldcourt Dublin 24

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 20 (1) of the Planning and Development Acts, 2000 2004 (as amended) that South Dublin County Council, being the Planning Authority for the County, intends to prepare a Local Area Plan for the following area:

West Oldcourt, Dublin 24

The County Council invites interested parties or individuals to make submissions / observations with respect to the proposed Local Area Plan during the pre-draft public consultation stage. Submissions/observations may be made in writing or by e-mail during the six-week period from Friday 30th June 2006 to 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 10th August 2006. All submissions and observations should be marked for the attention of the Director of Planning, Planning Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

E-mail submissions and observations may also be made to the relevant email address: westoldcourtlap@sdublincoco.ie and should state your name, address, and where relevant, the body represented. All submissions and observations lodged within the above time period will be taken into consideration during the preparation of the Draft West Oldcourt Local Area Plan.

Only submissions to the above postal or email addresses will be considered in the preparation of the Draft Plan.

Community or business associations, or public bodies or interested individuals may arrange a consultation meeting during the week commencing Monday 10th July 2006 by contacting Jim Johnston, Senior Executive Planner, at 01 - 414 9197 or email jjohnston@sdublincoco.ie

An Issues Paper, produced for general consultation purposes / public comment and a map identifying the Plan area for which the Local Area Plan will be prepared, may be inspected at the following locations:

Planning Department, County Hall, Tallaght Dublin 24 (9.30 16.30) All Branches of South County Dublin Libraries during Library Opening Hours
