Proposed Temporary Closure of
Hazelhatch Road R405, Co. Dublin
To facilitate GMC Utilities Ltd. on behalf of Uisce Éireann to install a watermain, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close the following road:
Road Name: Hazel Hatch Road (R405) Co. Dublin from junction of R405 with Loughtown Road and the junction of R405 with Athgoe Road.
From : Monday 10th November 2025
To: Friday 8th May 2026
Excluding: December 24th 2025 to January 4th 2026
Works will resume on Monday 5th January 2026
Time of Closure: 24hrs daily.
Detour Route: Heading Southbound to Newcastle R405 – Loughtown Road – R120 – Athgoe Road.
Heading Southbound to Newcastle: L2008 – Lyons Road – Athgoe Road
Heading Northbound to Celbridge; Athgoe Road – R120 – Loughtown Road – R405

Local access will be maintained.

24hr emergency access to be maintained at all times.
