Proposed Temporary Closure of
Main St, Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin
To facilitate GMC Utilities to place trial holes for a potential route for a new watermain, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close the following road:
Road Name: Main Street, Rathfarnham
From: Monday 18th August 2025
To: Wednesday 20th August 2025
Time of Closure: 6:30pm to 11:00pm
Detour Route: From Church Lane, turn left onto Main St., at the junction take a right onto Rathfarnham Road, at the lights take a left onto Butterfield Avenue.

Local access will be maintained.

24hr emergency access to be maintained at all times.
Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie no later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 11th August 2025.
