                               Proposed Temporary Closure of                             

 

 

Ballinascorney Road Lower, County Dublin

 

 

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Temporary Road Closure of Ballinascorney Road. Lower, scheduled for the 2nd to the 6th of April did not proceed. To facilitate  GMC Ireland Utilities on behalf of Uisce Éireann, install a new water main on the side of Fort Bridge, South Dublin County Council now propose to temporarily close the following Road:

 

Road Name:                        Ballinascorney Road Lower (from 100 metres north of Fort Bridge to                                             100 metres south of Fort Bridge).

 

From:                                     Monday 1st July  2024                      

                       

To:                                          Sunday 7th July 2024

 

Time of Closure:                      24 Hours Daily

                       

Detour Route:                          L7377, N81, R136 Firhouse Road West 

 

Detour Length:                   9.2 KM

 

 

Local access will be maintained however access across Fort Bridge will be prohibited.

 

Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie not later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 27th May 2024.
