Live Performance continues across South Dublin in August. Supported by South Dublin Arts Office and the Dept. of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media through the Live Local Performance Scheme.

“Live performances continue to bring joy across South Dublin this August. There’s something for everyone and we are delighted to continue supporting local performers and bring summer fun with lots of outdoor entertainment for all ages and tastes”. Orla Scannell, Arts Officer said.

Song Tales sa Spéir brings Music and Song from some of Ireland’s finest musicians including Treehouse, Caoimhe Hogarty, Thomas Johnston, Áine McGeeney and Claire Sherry to Waterstown Park, Palmerstown on Sunday 14th at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm; Carrigmore Park, Saggart on Monday 15th at 2pm & 3.15pm; Ballycragh Park, Firhouse on Tuesday 16th at 2pm & 3.15pm; Sean Walsh Park, Old Bawn Road at 12.30pm & 1.45pm and The Plaza, Saggart Village on Thursday 18th at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. These free live events promise an interactive toe-tapping, hip-shaking hooley with lots of fun for all the family.

If you like your entertainment with food and crafts, the markets continue at Tymon and Corkagh parks on Saturdays in August from 11am. With Magic Shows, Juggling, Circus Performers, Street Theatre and Music from Tallaght’s own Philip O’Toole, Mario’s Spanish Guitar, Mickey Smyths Neighbourhood Rock, and Angel Brennan there’s lots of fun to be had for all.
