SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
Roads Act 1993, Section 75
Proposed Temporary Closure of (a) Killinarden Road, Tallaght and
(b) Shankhill Road, Ballinascorney
To facilitate the road repair works, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close the following roads:
(a) Shankhill Road, Ballinascorney on Monday 21st March and Tuesday 22nd March 2022 inclusive from 9am to 5pm daily.
Alternative Routes:
The diversion route will be via Arghfarrell Road at R114. The length of the diversion to be approx. 12.8km.
- Local access will be maintained.
- Detour signs will be erected
(b) Killinarden Road, Tallaght Tuesday 22 March 2022 and Wednesday 23rd March 2022 inclusive from 10am to 4pm daily.
Alternative Routes:
The diversion route will be via Killinarden Heights, Killinarden Way, Kiltipper Way, Kiltipper Road. The length of the diversion to be approx. 4.4km.
- Local access will be maintained.
- Detour signs will be erected
Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie not later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 28th February 2022.
