Jobstown Community College Celebrates Student Achievement
On Wednesday evening next at 7.30pm (31st May 2006) the Liturgy and Graduation takes place at Jobstown Community College. The Mayor of South Dublin County Council Cllr. Therese Ridge will be present to make the awards to students. Each student will receive a photograph of their class group. The following Major Awards will also be presented:
Best Senior Cycle Pupil
Best Junior Cycle Pupil
Best Leaving Cert. Applied Pupil
Award for Service to the School Community
Attendance Awards
Best Sporting/Cultural Award
Best and Most Improved Students in Sixth Year
Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied students will be celebrating the culmination of five years of school achievement. Among the students will be ten Adult students who have followed the ACE programme for a number of years. This programme prepares students for Third Level courses at University and Institute of Technology level.
The liturgy will be attended by priests and pastors of several denominations with students and teachers involved in singing and music.
