Press Statement on behalf of South Dublin County Council

The Council has concluded its initial investigation into the allegation that a member of staff recently gave evidence to a Turkish Court on behalf of a Turkish Company, Gama Industries. It has been established that a member of staff did attend such a hearing earlier this month in a personal capacity. His attendance was without the authorisation or knowledge of the Council.

The Council has therefore commenced its disciplinary procedures in accordance with its policies.
