Public Notice of
Proposed Traffic Calming Measures in Allenton/Ely/Ferncourt/Oldcourt Residential Cell.
Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposed provision by South Dublin County Council of the above scheme and a description of the proposed works follows:
The proposed works consist of the following:
- The creation of three cul de sacs at the following junctions:
i) Oldcourt Road/ Ferncourt Avenue
ii) Oldcourt Road/ Allenton Avenue
iii) Allenton Drive in the vicinity of House No. 94
2. The construction of three non-mountable roundabouts on Oldcourt Road at its junction
with:
i) Allenton Drive
ii) Allenton Road
iii) Oldcourt Avenue
- The provision of eleven(11) standard traffic calming ramps and
- Associated Road Signage
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at:
(a) South Dublin County Council Offices, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
from 9.00am– 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 9.00am -4.30pm each Friday.
(b) County Library, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
From 9.45am- 8.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 9.45am – 4.30pm Friday and Saturday.
From Thursday 20th January 2005 to Friday 18th February 2005.
Written submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing before 4.30pm on Friday 4th March 2005 to The Senior Executive Officer,Roads and Traffic Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre Tallaght, Dublin 24.
