Re: Temporary Closure of
Aylmer Road, Newcastle, Co Dublin
In order to allow for construction of a 1.8m x 1m box culvert across the Aylmer Road, South Dublin County Council proposes to temporarily close the Aylmer Road, from the T-junction intersecting Aylmer Road with the R120 on the Newcastle side and intersection of Aylmer Road with Baldonnell Road from Monday 24th January 2005 to Friday 28th January 2005, both dates inclusive.
The alternative routes are via (A) Aylmer Road, Lucan-Rathcoole Road (Newcastle Main Street), Peamount Road, Nangor Road, Baldonnell Road, Aylmer Road
(B) Aylmer Road, Lucan-Rathcoole Road, College Lane, Naas Road (City Bound), Barney’s Lane, Baldonnell Road, Aylmer Road
Diversion signs will be erected.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
Any person interested may lodge an objection with the Senior Executive Officer, Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00 pm on Tuesday 11th January 2004.
It should be noted that the Freedom of Information Act applies to all records held by South Dublin County Council.
