Temporary Closure of Main Street Lucan and a section of Leixlip Road
To facilitate the Lucan Festival, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close Main Street Lucan, and a section of Leixlip Road on Sunday 8th September 2019 from 10.00am to 7.00pm.
Alternative Routes:-
From Adamstown Road to Lower Lucan Road
Via Lucan Road and The Old Hill and vice versa. (suitable for light vehicles only)
or
Via the Lucan Bypass (N4), Ballydowd Interchange (Junction 3), Lucan Road and The Old Hill and vice versa. (suitable for all vehicles including Heavy Goods Vehicles)
From the Leixlip Road to Lucan Road
Via the Lucan Bypass (N4) and Adamstown Road and vice versa.

Local access will be maintained

Detour signs will be erected.
Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie not later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 26th August 2019.
