Proposed Development Notice under Part 8 of the Local Government (Planning & Development) Regulations 2001 / 2003
Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposal to construct the following:
Development of a Replacement Community Facility, refurbishment of the remaining existing
block and development of infill housing in Avonbeg Gardens, Tallaght, as Phase 4 of the redevelopment and refurbishment of Avonbeg.
The proposal comprises:
Part 1; The construction of the replacement Community Facility in the Park area to the
south of Avonbeg Gardens. This replacement building area is equivalent in size to the
existing facility, allowing maximum flexibility of use. Possible future extensions are feasible
within the facility boundary.
Part 2; The provision of 7 no dwellings through; The refurbishment of the vacated three-storey
block to provide ;
2 no one bedroom Ground Floor apartments
2 no. two bedroom Duplex apartments, on first and second floors,
and
The construction of 3 no. infill housing units consisting of;
2no three bedroom two-storey dwellings
1no two bedroom single-storey dwelling.
The works will include new hard and soft landscaped areas and boundary treatment, and all necessary associated ancillary works. Drawings of the proposed development is on display at the Headquarters of South Dublin County Council, Civic Offices, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 during normal working hours until Monday 13th June, 2005 at 5.00 pm
