Proposed Traffic Calming Measures in Ashfield/Fortfield, Templeogue.

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposed provision by South Dublin County Council of the above scheme and a description of the proposed works follows:

 

The proposed works will consist of the following:

 

  1. The provision of eighteen (18) standard traffic calming ramps.
  2. 5 Corner kerb build outs
  3. No right turn from Cypress Grove Road onto Cypress Garth between 7.30am – 9.30am and 4.30pm – 6.30pm Monday to Sunday
  4. The construction of three roundabouts
  5. The painting of speed limit signs onto the road surface and
  6. Associated Road Signage

 

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at :

 

(a)               South Dublin County Council Offices, County Hall, Tallaght

from 9.00am– 12.45pm and 2.00pm–5.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 9.00am-12.45pm and 2.00pm-4.30pm each Friday.

 

(b)               Ballyroan Library, Orchardstown Avenue, Dublin 14.

from 9.45am-8.pm Monday to Thursday

and 9.45am-4.30pm Friday and Saturday

 

(c)                Terenure Library, Templeogue Road, Dublin 6W.

From 1.pm-8.pm Monday and Wednesday

And 10.am –5.pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

 

from 12th May 2003 – 13th June 2003

 

(d)               St Pius X National School, Fortfield Park, Terenure, Dublin 6W.

From 3.pm-4.30pm Monday 19th May and Wednesday 21st May 2003 and Monday 26th May and Wednesday 28th May 2003.

 

Written submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing before 4.30pm on Friday 27th June 2003 to The Senior Executive Officer,Roads and Traffic Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre Tallaght, Dublin 24.
