Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund 2003
Do you think your organisation could contribute to sustainable development in your community?
If so, you may be entitled to co-funding from the Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund 2003 which encourages partnership arrangements between local community groups/environmental NGOs and South Dublin County Council.
Selected projects are part funded by the council and the Department of the Environment and Local Government. Preference is given to those projects where a significant amount of the cost of the project is funded by the proposer or from other sources.
Theme of the Fund for 2003 – Local Agenda 21
It is desirable that eligible projects focus on aspects of waste management to complement the Department’s forthcoming National Environmental Awareness Campaign. As a follow-up to the World Summit on Sustainable Development 2002, emphasis for 2003 will be on projects which support Local Agenda 21, a process which facilitates sustainable development at community level.
