Mayor Therese Ridge will officially launch ‘Accidentally Inspired’ a collection of short stories and poems by young people from South Dublin County in the County Library Tallaght at 2pm. Saturday 10^th December.

The Arts Group, Alternative Entertainments set up a project consisting of workshops for young aspiring writers some three years ago.  The project, which was initially supposed to run for 6 weeks, was so successful that 3 years on it has two publications to its name.  South Dublin County Council is proud to have been involved with this venture.  The County Library facilitated the workshops by the use of its seminar room for workshops and the council itself helped with funding.  The Arts Council, the National Youth Foundation and Alternative Entertainments Publishing also provided funding.
