A GREAT DAY FOR CLONDALKIN

Thérèse Ridge, Mayor of South Dublin County Council is very pleased to announce that the land at the rear of the Round Tower in Clondalkin has been secured by South Dublin County Council after lengthy discussions with the current landowners.

Deputy Manager and Head of Planning Tom Doherty informed the Mayor of the successful conclusion of negotiations and the matter is now with the legal representatives of both parties to complete the formalities.

The Mayor wishes to acknowledge the work of her predecessor Cllr. Robert Dowds and the work of the “Rally Round the Tower” group whose input was most positive.
