Mayor Robert Dowds  to attend the Launch of “Significant Trees” – an exhibition by the South County Dublin Association of An Taisce at Ballyroan Library on Wednesday

12th January at 7.30pm.

The South Dublin County Association of An Taisce state that the aim of the exhibition is to highlight trees, which are significant in their context.

The exhibition consists of approx forty mounted photographs, mostly A4 or slightly larger in size. About ten out the forty relate to the South Dublin County administrative area and include photographs of trees in   Massey’s Wood, Bohernabreena, by the River Dodder, Cruagh Wood and other areas in Tallaght and Templeogue.

As well as reminding us of the benefits and value of such stunning trees on our streets and roads, the photographs are wonderful  and inspiring in their own right.

South Dublin County Council is grateful to the Association for once again lending Ballyroan Library such an attractive exhbition.
