The structural damage caused to the steel portion of the composite bridge deck of the Saggart Rathcoole Interchange has necessitated the imposition of maximum weight restriction loading on the bridge of 7.5 ton as advised by our consulting engineers. In order to ensure compliance with this weight restriction a steel gantry is being erected from 11am on Tuesday 16th November 2004. As and from that date no vehicle that exceeds 2.3m in height will be able to negotiate the bridge.

The Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this interruption.
