and the Members of South Dublin County Council Will officially launch

‘A World in Dreams’in

County Hall Tallaght Monday July 5^th at 6pm.

The exhibition ‘A World in Dreams’is a study of paintings and drawings by the artist Andre Siehan and will run from 5^th July to 23^rd July.

Andre Siehen (born Krakow, Poland) escaped from occupied Poland to England where he attended college and university in London and later settled in Scotland. He travelled to Italy, France and Sweden and studied in Provence with famous Polish-Swiss artist Stan Appenzeller, and in Sweden with Ted Kamasa. He particularly admires the Impressionists and has exhibited in Nice, Senigallia, Stockholm, Ludvica and in Scotland.

Settling in Ireland after marrying Krystyna, an artist and knitwear designer he has exhibited at the Irish-Polish Cultural Association and several other venues and has been highly praised for the originality of his work and" fabulous" line.

Andre spent much time of his life in the highlands of Scotland, the Irish Countryside and other unspoilt areas of Europe and North America, soaking in the beauty of varied landscapes and enjoying the richness of wild life.,
