Cll. Deirdre Doherty Ryan to attend the Green  School Flag Ceremony  in St. Brigid’s Girls National School Turret Road Palmerstown on behalf of Mayor Máire Ardagh and South Dublin County Council on Friday 4^th June at 10am.

St. Brigid’s Girls National School Palmerstown was among 19 schools nationwide to receive the coveted 'Green Flag' award on 20th May, 2003 for the high standard of its recycling and environmental awareness initiatives.  The Green Flag programme is administered by An Taisce and encourages young people to play an active role in environmental issues.  The Flag will be raised by Cll. Deirdre Doherty Ryan at a special ceremony at the  school on June 4^th.2004
