Christmas 2003 & New Year Arrangements

South Dublin County Council wish to announce a free months collection for the following customers in January 2004. 

Those who have paid Waste charges in 2002/2003,

Those who were approved for waivers

Those who have made arrangements to clear arrears by instalments.

For those householders in arrears on 1st January 2004 enforcement of non collection of bins will continue.

To avail of this free collection for the month of January 2004 please pay by 31^st December 2003. 

Payments can be made at 4149377.  Or Online at www.Southdublin.ie on a 24/7 basis or by calling to the Council offices up to the 23^rd December 2003.

The New tag a bin system will come into effect from 2^nd February 2004.  In January 2004 all householders will be sent details of the retail outlets where tags may be bought.

There will be no refuse collection on Christmas Day, or on St. Stephen’s Day.

Collection for Thursday, Christmas Day will take place on Thursday 1^st January 2004.  Collection for Friday, St. Stephen’s Day will take place on Friday 2^nd January 2004. 

Collection will take place as normal on all other days over the Christmas and New Year period.

Refuse should be left out for collection before 7.30am on collection day.

Please ensure that the roadway is kept clear of parked cars on refuse collection day so that the refuse freighters can gain access.

The following are the opening hours of the Civic Amenity Facility adjacent to Ballymount Baling Station during Christmas and New Year.
