Mayor Cllr. Jim Daly to present 'Green Flag' award to
Cnoc Mhuire National School Killinarden.
Scoil Cnoc Mhuire was among 19 schools nationwide to receive the coveted 'Green Flag' award on 20th May 2003 for the high standard of it recycling and environmental awareness initiatives.The green flag programme is administered by An Taisce and encourages young people to play an active role in environmental issues.The Flag will be raised by South Dublin Mayor Jim Daly at a special ceremony at the Killinarden school on June 24th.
