An Art Exhibition is being held on Tuesday 6th May, 2003 to Launch 'Litter Awareness and Cartoons'. The exhibition comprises pieces created by students from five schools in the South County area in Tallaght County Library and will take place at 11.00 a.m.
This Project is part of a South Dublin County Council Project in conjunction with local Artist Mr. Eddie Doran and was sponsored under the Anti-Litter Grant Scheme funded by the Department of Environment and Local Government.
The Five Schools who participated are:-
Tallaght Community School.
St. Colmcille's Community School, Knocklyon.
Moyle Park College, Clondalkin.
St. Anne's Senior School, Fettercairn.
Gaelscoil Na Comoige, Arus Cronan, Clondalkin.
The Event is being launched by Mayor Jim Daly and prizes will be presented on the day to the Schools for the best Posters.
