Bike Week 2014 in South Dublin County
Bike Week is an annual celebration and promotion of all that's great about bikes and cycling with bike themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland. Bike Week 2014 is from June 14th to June 22nd and South Dublin County Council and the South Dublin County Sports Partnership, together with local clubs, schools and organisations, have organised a wide range of activities to suit all ages.
Are you interested in learning more about the Bike to Work Scheme, perhaps linking up with a club for some regular group spins or indeed just want to know more about servicing your bike? During the week there will be free bike servicing sessions, cycle training in schools, events for children and adults with a mountain bike course, time trialling on a cycle track and an evening cycle – with chips ! All events are provided free of charge.
