Make Sure You Are Registered to Vote in the EUROPEAN AND LOCAL ELECTIONS on Friday 23rd May 2014
Check the Register of Electors on www.checktheregister.ie
If you are not registered you may still apply to be included in the Supplement to the Register of Electors 2014/2015.
Supplement Application Forms (RFA2 & RFA3) are available at your local Garda Stations, Post Offices, Libraries, County Council Offices and online at www.checktheregister.ie . Closing Date for inclusion in the Supplement to the Register is: Tuesday 6th May 2014
Supplement to the Postal and Special Voters Lists
If you are eligible to vote by post, or are unable to vote in person due to a physical illness or physical disability, or are resident in a hospital, nursing home or similar institution and you are not on the Postal Voters List or Special Voters List, you can apply for inclusion in the supplement to these lists.
Postal and Special Voter Application formsare available from the County Council and online at www.sdcc.ie. Closing Date for inclusion on the Supplement to the Postal and Special Voters Lists is: Saturday 26th April 2014
The right to vote is as follows:
Irish, British and Other EU citizens*: can vote at the European and Local elections.
Non-EU Citizens: can vote at Local elections.
*Other EU Citizens must in certain cases complete a separate statutory declaration EP1.
(available from your County Council Office and online at www.checktheregister.ie ).
