The Maths Trail consists of a set of questions aimed at different levels of ability to help children and adults see how maths is visible in our every day lives, even when taking a walk in our beautiful parks.

“Corkagh park was alive with activity this morning” said the Mayor Dermot Looney

“ It was wonderful to see almost 500 students solving puzzles, playing maths games and engaging with Maths in a fun way. I really enjoyed seeing the projects displayed and I know this Maths Eyes project will encourage a greater interest in Maths in the future. The Maths trail is wonderful – I hope that the local schools will arrange maths classes in the park on a regular basis – students will enjoy learning about maths and also get the benefit of the landscape. Of course the maths trail is open to all – so parents and families – indeed anyone using the park can follow the maths trail”

All you have to do is download the questions from www.sdcc.ie or from www.haveyougotmathseyes.ie and follow the Maths Eyes trail around the park starting at the St Johns road entrance.
