Built Heritage Jobs Leverage Scheme 2014

The Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht is operating the ‘Built Heritage Jobs Leverage Scheme’ for 2014. This will be administered by the Architectural Conservation Officer of South Dublin County Council. The allocation for South Dublin County Council under the scheme for 2014 is €123,000.

The fund is intended to assist with works to safeguard structures protected under the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2011 and, in certain cases, works to structures within Architectural Conservation Areas. The fund is not intended to assist in the carrying out of routine maintenance, alterations, improvements, or pre-existing works. Applications under this fund must be made by email to Irenie McLoughlin, Architectural Conservation Officer imcloughlin@sdublincoco.ie or by post to the Architectural Conservation Officer, Development, Economic & Transport Planning Department, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

Works approved under this scheme must meet all statutory requirements including the need for planning permission, where appropriate.

Please note that the deadline for submission of completed applications to the Architectural Conservation Officer, South Dublin County Council is before 5pm, Wednesday 12th February 2014.
