The Big Picture is Open: South Dublin County Councils New Interactive Information Centre

South Dublin County Councils exciting new Interactive Information centre is now open for business! The Big Picture is a new multi-media information centre in Tallaght town centre situated at the last Luas stop. This contemporary space brings the future of South Dublin County to life in a visual and engaging manner. Admission is free and the centre is open to all!

The first of its kind, the Big Picture aims to create a new medium of communication through the visual, creative and learning process.

The exhibition currently provides information on aspects of life in South Dublin County now and into the future.

Come in and see

  • The Community Interactive Notice Board an interactive notice board showcasing the best in the County
  • Themes wall - A Place for Everyone, a Place for People, A Place to Live, A Place to Connect, A Place to Protect
  • Information Kiosks Location based Information and anInteractive challenge try your hand at developing a sustainable community in the 21st century.
  • Hotspots highlights of many of the exciting projects throughout the County in visual format
  • Tallaght Tour Take a tour through Tallaght and see how it will develop in the future.
  • County Diary Find out whats happening in South Dublin County today and everyday

The programme will change and develop and will continue to highlight the many activities and events taking place in the County.

The Big Picture along with the newly developed County Library and The Red Arts Centre forms the new Cultural centre at the heart Tallaght.
