Proposed Fortunestown Lane/Garter Lane Local Area Plan
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 20 (3) of the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2007 that South Dublin County Council, being the Planning Authority for the County proposes to make a Local Area Plan for Fortunestown Lane/ Garter Lane. The Planning Authority has prepared an Environmental Report of the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the ProposedLocal Area Plan in accordance with the Planning and Development Strategic Environmental Assessment Regulations 2004. A copy of the Proposed Local Area Plan and accompanying environmental report will be available for inspection from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) from 28th November 2008 to 8th January 2009 inclusive at the following locations: -
- Planning Department, South Dublin County Council, Tallaght, Dublin 24 (9.00 5.00 Monday to Thursday and 9.00 4.30 Fridays)
- South Dublin County Council Offices, Civic Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 (9.30 12.45 and 2.00- 4.00 Monday to Friday)
- All branches of South Dublin Libraries during library opening hours.
The proposed Local Area Plan and Environmental Report may also be viewed on the County Councils website at www.southdublin.ie
Submissions and observations in respect of the Proposed Local Area Plan and Environmental Report may be made in writing during the period 28th November 2008 and 8th January 2009 (16:00 hrs) to:

Submissions and observations may also be made by email to: fortunestown@sdublincoco.ie and should state your name, address and where relevant the body represented.
All submissions and observations in respect of the Proposed Local Area Plan and Environmental Report may be made in writing to South Dublin County Council within the above time period and will be taken into consideration by the Council in deciding upon the Proposed Local Area Plan.
