FOR FABULOUSLY FRIGHTENING FAMILY FUN,

HAUNT SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY THIS HALLOWEEN!

This October Bank Holiday weekend, Tallaght and the Dublin Mountains are set to come alive with magical, spooky fun thats free for all the family yes, its Hallowfest 2008!

Celebrations will kick off at 3.30pm on Sunday 26th October in Library Square Tallaght with fire jugglers, lion dancers, African drummers, samba dancers and Halloween characters just dont forget your costume!

Scare your friends by getting your face painted by your favourite Halloween ghoul in Tallaght County Library and Leisureplex. Or visit The Hallowfest Ghostbus where you can listen to tinglingly terrifying ghost stories - a fantastically frightening experience you wont forget in a hurry!

The Intercultural Halloween Parade will leave Library Square Tallaght at 5pm on Sunday 26th October on an exciting march to Tallaght Institute of Technology culminating in an amazing fireworks extravanganza, lighting up the skies of South Dublin County - a sight not to be missed!

The spooky adventures will continue on Bank Holiday Monday 27th October with a ghostly family Treasure Hunt embarking to the enchanting and mysterious Hell-Fire Club site in the Dublin Mountains. Be sure to wrap up well, wear walking shoes and be prepared, as you never know what treasures you and your family will discover

A free park n ride facility, operating from South Dublin County Council to the Hell-Fire Club car park, will leave hourly from 9am until 1pm to make the day as easy and fun as possible. In addition to this facility there will also be a free shuttle bus system looping from Killakee, Cruagh Woods and Pine Forest car parks surrounding the Hell-Fire Club so all you have to worry about is those ghosties lurking around!Check out www.hallowfest.ie for more details and make sure to have a deliciously scary and spine-tinglingly exciting Halloween!
