ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 73 (1)

Notice of intention by South Dublin County Council to consider the extinguishment of the Public Rights of Way at the following locations:

1. Public Right of Way at rear 58/62 and 63/68 Balrothery Estate, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

2. Public Right of Way at rear of 159 - 178 Castle Park and between 164 165 and 170 171, Castle Park, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

The rights of way to be extinguished are indicated on maps which may be inspected at the Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 during office hours (9.00 a.m. to 12.45 p.m., Monday to Friday, 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Thursday and 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., Friday) from Tuesday 30th September, 2008 to Wednesday 29th October, 2008.

Any representations or objections regarding the proposed extinguishments must be made in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24, before 4.30p.m.on Friday 14th November 2008 (being a date not less than two weeks after the end of the period for inspection).

It should be noted that persons making such representations or objections may make a request, in writing, to state their case at an oral hearing conducted by a person appointed by South Dublin County Council for that purpose.
