South Dublin County Council Congratulates Kenny Egan
Mayor Marie Corr, South Dublin County Council sends her congratulations to Kenny Egan, the Olympic Irish boxer on his success in the Beijing Olympic Games. Kenny Egan from Clondalkin won a silver medal in the Olympic Light Heavyweight final, on Sunday 24th August.
South Dublin County Council and all the people of the County and especially everyone in Clondalkin sends their congratulations to Kenny says Mayor Marie Corr. We are very proud of him and look forward to welcoming him to South Dublin as one of Irelands great sporting champions. South Dublin County Council will celebrate and honour Kennys success in the very near future.
Mayor Corr said Kennys success will encourage our youth to get involved in sport and he is an inspiration and role model for all the young people of the County. I also congratulate the Neilstown boxing club on the success may it be the first of many.
Neilstown Boxing club in Clondalkin is Kennys home club and South Dublin County Council has currently published notice of the intention to refurbish and extend Neilstown Community Centre and also provide for extra accommodation for the club.
