Temporary Closure of a section of Lucan-Newlands Road

Public Notice in the Irish Independent on Friday 14th March 2008 and Thursday 27th March 2008 refers to the temporary closure of a section of Lucan-Newlands Roads from Thursday 3rd April 2008 to Thursday 24th April 2008, in order to facilitate the completion of road realignment and new railway bridge at Lucan-Newlands Road as part of the Kildare Route Project. Due to delays encountered on this road, South Dublin County Council has made an order extending the closure until Monday 5th May 2008.

Alternative route are via Lucan-Newlands Road, Fonthill Road North R113, Fonthill Road South R113, New Nangor Road R136, Lucan-Newlands Road and vice versa

Diversion signs will be erected.

Local access will be maintained at all times.
