Liffey Valley Town Centre Local Area Plan

Variation to Proposed Local Area Plan

South Dublin County Council hereby gives notice that following consideration of the Proposed Liffey Valley Town Centre Local Area Plan, the County Council, at its meeting on the 12^th of December 2007, decided to vary the Proposed Liffey Valley Town Local Area Plan as follows;

The Plan to be amended as appropriate to provide for a direct access/egress

to the N4 for the Liffey Valley Development and that this shall be completed and in use before any additional retail unit is open for use.

In accordance with Section 20(3)(d)(e) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 as amended, the proposed Variation, if made, would be a material alteration to the Proposed Local Area Plan.

The Variation to the Proposed Liffey Valley Town Centre Local Area Plan will be displayed in public from the 2^nd January 2008 to the 30th of January 2008 (inclusive) at the following locations and times:-

Main Foyer

South Dublin County Council

County Hall

Tallaght

9.00am-5.00pm Monday Thursday

9.00am4.30pm on Friday

Main Foyer, Civic Centre, Clondalkin,

9.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-4.00pm Monday to Friday

Lucan Library, Superquinn Shopping Centre, Newcastle Road, Lucan

9.45am-8.00pm Monday to Thursday

9.45am-4.30pm Friday and Saturday

And 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the South Dublin County Council website from the 2^nd of January 2008 :- www.southdublin.ie

Submissions and observations on the proposed variation may be made in writing, between Wednesday 2^nd January 2008 and Wednesday 30^th January 2008 (both dates inclusive). Written submissions made within this period must be taken into consideration before making the variation.

Submissions must be marked Liffey Valley Town Centre Local Area Plan Variation Submission and delivered to:-

PLEASE NOTE: Only submissions received by 4.30 pm on Wednesday 30^th of January 2008 and addressed as set out above will be considered. Submissions cannot be accepted in any other format or to any other postal address or email address.

A report with recommendations on all valid submissions or observations received will be prepared and presented to the Members of the County Council for their consideration.
