Celebration of the Written Word

Reading by Katherine Duffy: Katherine won the New Writer Category in this Years Hennessey Literary Awards for her emergent fiction piece Must See. Her collection of poetry The Erratic Behaviour of Tides was published by Dedalus and she has also had numerous short stories published.
Reading by Anne Enright: Anne is the only Irish author on this years Man Booker Prize long list for her novel The Gathering. Her publications include a collection of short stories called The Portable Virgin. Making Babies details her experiences as a mother and her other novels are, The Wig My Father Wore, What are you Like? and The Pleasures Of Eliza Lynch.
Talk by Anne Dempsey: Anne is the author of Sharing A Personal Pleasure: All You Need to Know About Senior Reading Groups. Anne will share invaluable tips on all you need to know about setting up and running a successful reading group
