SPORT & RECREATION STRATEGY

FOR SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified

professionals who wish to be considered for inclusion

on a list from which tenders will be invited for the

following project: Sports and Recreation strategy for

South County Dublin

The strategy will prioritise the direction of sport &

Recreation development in the county, concentrating

on the number of policy areas for the next 4 years. It

will aim to build and sustain South Dublin County as a

healthy and vibrant location for sporting and recreation

expression and enjoyment,

The Objectives of the Strategy taken from the Councils

corporate plan 2004-2009 will be to provide a reference

document for the context in which South Dublin County

Council is working, its vision for sport and recreation

development in the county and as a point of reference

for all clubs/community groups and organisations

wishing to work on a partnership basis in this area in

the county.

Applicants are required to provide information under

the headings listed below. The candidates financial

status and experience will be evaluated on the basis of

the following information to be provided.

A A list of major projects undertaken during the last 5

years particularly of a similar nature and involving a

council or public sector client.

B A schedule of current workload including description

of the projects value of each and the start and

completion dates

C Evidence of ability to facilitate a public consultation

process.

D Evidence of capacity to fulfill a contract within

agreed timescale.

E Copy of relevant tax clearance certificate or in the

case of a non-national a statement from the relevant

tax authority.

All evidence for the above must be supplied

accompanied by the appropriate documentary

evidence.

Failure to provide same may result in the exclusion of

the candidate concerned.

Applications to be received by 12.00 noon on the 9th of

March 2007
