Temporary Closure of Lyons Road

 

To facilitate the construction of a Cattle Underpass, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close a section of Lyons Road from the entrance to UCD Research Farm to a point 500m west of UCD Research Farm entrance from Friday 25th January 2019 to Monday 28th January 2019 inclusive.

 

Alternative Routes:-

Via Athgoe Road (L6001), Hazelhatch Road (R405), Simmonstown Manor Estate Road (L6057), Newtown Road (L1016)

and Vice Versa.

  • Local access will be maintained

  • Detour signs will be erected.

 

Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie not later than 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday 16th January 2019.
