Temporary Closure of roads in Tallaght for Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (Amended Notice)

To facilitate the Tallaght Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close the following roads in the Tallaght area on Saturday

17th March 2018 from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

Roads to be closed

1. Old Blessington Road from the Belgard Road to the junction with Main Street Tallaght.

1. Main Street Tallaght from the junction with the Old Blessington Road to its junction with the Greenhills Road.

1. Greenhills Road from the junction with Main Street Tallaght to Airton Road.

1. Old Bawn Road from its junction with the N81 (Tallaght By-Pass) to Tallaght Main Street.

Alternative Routes:- 

Via 

N81, Airton Road 

Detour signs will be erected.

Local Access will be maintained at all times.

Any person interested may lodge an objection with the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00p.m on Monday 5th March 2018.
