CHANGES TO “30 MINUTES FREE
PARKING” IN COUNCIL OWNED
PAY & DISPLAY PARKING SPACES IN
THE SEVEN VILLAGES OF SOUTH
DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
South Dublin County Council have introduced
the following changes to the “30 Minutes Free
Parking” available in the villages of Tallaght,
Lucan, Clondalkin, Rathfarnham, Rathcoole,
Templeogue and Palmerstown.
The changes introduced are as follows:
If a patron is going to be 30 minutes or less, they
MUST visit the Pay & Display Machine and press
the Green Button to obtain a ticket which must
be displayed.
If the patron is going to be more than 30 minutes,
they must pay at the machine and an additional
30 Minutes will be added to the expiry time of
their ticket.
ALL cars parked in Council owned spaces will
now be required to display either a valid ticket,
a parking permit, or a disabled parking permit.
It is the responsibility of the driver to have their
ticket/permit clearly displayed and visible to the
Parking Warden.
30 Minutes Free can only be availed of once a
day by motorists and this will be enforced by
Parking Wardens.
