In accordance with Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001 and Section 6 (1) of the Casual Trading Act 1995, the Elected Members of South Dublin County Council, at a meeting on 20th June 2016, adopted new Bye–Laws for the control, regulation, supervision and administration of casual trading within its functional area.
These Bye–Laws came into force on the 1st day of August 2016.
A copy of the Bye-Laws is available free of charge or for inspection at the offices of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24, and the Civic Offices, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, during normal office hours (i.e. Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm).
