Free demonstrations of park exercise equipment
During the month of October, South Dublin County Sports Partnership is offering members of the public a free 'fitwalk programme' in various public parks and greens throughout the county.
The 'fitwalk programme' incorporates shorts walks and the use of the outdoor exercise equipment that South Dublin County Council has installed in the parks. Each session is approximately 45 minutes in duration and is ideally suited to active retired and those seeking to become more active. The demonstrations will be held each week throughout October. Trained tutors will on hand to give the demonstrations and will also be available to offer advice and tips on the other opportunities that are available for keeping physically active.
Timetable for weekly demonstrations:
Corkagh Park, Mondays @ 10.00 am
Ballymount Park, Mondays @ 11.30 am
