Older People in South Dublin County are having their voices heard!
The South Dublin Age Friendly County Programme was launched in Tallaght Stadium on February 29th by Mayor Caitríona Jones during which over 100 older people from around the County took part in a consultation sessions.
Further consultation sessions will take place across the County over the month of March as follows:
Rathcoole Community Centre, Main Street, Rathcoole - Tuesday March 6th, 11am
Retreat House, St. Mary’s Priory, Tallaght Village - Thursday March 8th, 11am
Palmerstown House, Old Lucan Road, Palmerston Village - Tuesday March 13th, 11am
Ballyroan Community Centre, Marian Road, Rathfarnham - Wednesday 14th 11am
Perrystown Community Centre, Limekiln Lane, Perrystown - Wednesday March 21st, 11am
Áras Chronáin, Watery Lane, Orchard Road, Clondalkin - Thursday March 22nd, 11am
St. Andrew’s Church Hall, Main St., Lucan Village - Wednesday March 28th, 2pm
Tallaght Leisure Centre, Fortunestown Way, Tallaght - Thursday March 29th, 11am
Consultation sessions are open to everyone. We are particularly interested in meeting with older people, people who provide services for older people, and anyone who has an interest in making South Dublin a great place to grow older. During the sessions participants will be asked to give feedback on what is working well in the County and what could be improved.
