Temporary Closure of a section of Old Belgard Road, Tallaght

Public notice was published in the Irish Independent on Friday 12^th August and refers to the temporary closure of a section of the Old Belgard Road and Embankment Road from Monday 22^nd August to Monday 17^th October (inclusive), in order to facilitate the construction of the Embankment Road Extension Scheme. However, in order to facilitate additional works, it is necessary to extend the closure until Tuesday 1^st November 2011.

Alternative routes via          (1) Belgard Heights to Cookstown Industrial Estate-

                                                Old Belgard Road, Cookstown Road, Belgard Road R113 Southbound, Embankment Road R838 to Cookstown Industrial Estate

                                                (2) Cookstown Industrial Estate to Belgard Heights-

Cookstown Industrial Estate, Avenue 1, Extension to Belgard Road, Belgard Road R113 Northbound, Cookstown Road, Old Belgard Road

Diversion signs will be erected.

Local access will be maintained at all times
