Proposed New Works

Notice Under Part VIII of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 - 2008

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposal to alter, extend and refurbish, including provision of advertising boards to North Elevation:

Rowlagh Community Centre, Neilstown Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22

Material Alteration and extension of Rowlagh Community Centre:

- demolishing existing extensions,

- extending centre by 500sqm, resulting in a total of 1100sqm made up of a three storey extension to Neilstown Rd and a two storey extension to rear of building.

- Alterations to ground floor to provide a childcare facility, upgrade to fire egress and accessibility.

External works to include:

- new paving to front,

- new wall and fence to perimeter of site

- parking spaces to rear,

- crèche garden to South

- Temporary accommodation to be provided to North of building to allow continued operation of centre during construction.

- Advertising boards on North elevation to be re-instated following construction.

Drawings of the proposed extension will be on public display at the Headquarters of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, at the Civic Offices in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, at Rowlagh Community Centre during normal working hours and on http://www.sdcc.ie/ , during the period from 8th July 2010 to 19th August 2020.

Submissions or observations with respect to this matter dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing to;

The latest date for the receipt of submissions or observations is 4.30pm on Thursday 9th September.
