South Dublin County Council announces work will commence on the next phase of the Naas Road Quality Bus Corridor next Monday 25th January 2010 on the inbound carriageway of the Naas Road between Longmile Road Intersection and M50 Red Cow Interchange. While the bulk of this work will be carried out at night to minimise traffic disruption, delays can be expected on all approaches to the area for the duration of the works, over the next three months. Advance warning signs will be in place on all approaches to the works. Drivers are requested, if possible, to use alternative routes and if they are using this route, to exercise extreme care in the vicinity of the works.
Works on the outbound lane will commence in two weeks time when a similar traffic management system will be put in place on this carriageway.
South Dublin County Council, on behalf of the Quality Bus Network Project Office and the National Transportation Authority, regrets any inconvenience that may be caused to the travelling public for the duration of these works.
